Refund Policy

American Royal High School is committed to offering a fair and transparent refund process. We understand that adult learners often balance school with work, family responsibilities, and unexpected life events. Our refund schedule is aligned with course start dates so students know exactly what to expect.If something unexpected happens that affects your ability to continue, please reach out to your advisor. We are here to help you plan a pause or return whenever you are ready.

1. Refund Eligibility Based on Course Start Date

Refunds are calculated according to the week in which your course begins. The following schedule applies once you have officially started your program and gained access to course materials:
100% Refund — Within Week 1: If you withdraw during the first week after your course start date, you are eligible for a full refund.
75% Refund — Within Week 2: Withdrawals during the second week are eligible for a 75% refund.
50% Refund — Within Week 3: Withdrawals during the second week are eligible for a 75% refund.
0% Refund — Within Week 4 or Later: After the fourth week begins, no refund is available. At this point, students have had meaningful access to course materials and support services.

This schedule ensures clarity and fairness for all students and reflects the value of immediate access to digital education resources.

2. Payment Plans

Students using a payment plan remain responsible for payments according to the refund schedule above. Any outstanding balance will be adjusted based on the eligible refund percentage.

3. Life Events and Special Circumstances

We recognize that unexpected situations can arise. If a significant life event disrupts your education, we encourage you to:
Contact your advisor
Explain your circumstances
Discuss options for pausing studies or returning later

While refunds follow the schedule above, our team will do everything possible to support your academic goals and create a plan that works for your situation.

4. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing. Please include:
Your full name
Enrollment date
Course start date
Course start date

Our staff will review your request promptly, confirm your eligibility according to the refund schedule, and let you know the next steps.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not refundable:
Administrative or processing fees
Payment plan service fees
Transcript or document request fees
Tuition beyond the applicable refund window
