Each course was created to maximize your time in the classroom. You can jump into a lesson at any time and your progress is saved so you can pick up right where you left off. Our online high school curriculum is a total of 22 credits.
The state requires 16 credits in the core subjects of Math, Science, Social Studies, and English. You will get to choose core curriculum courses in interesting topics ranging from World History to Physics. You will also get to choose six courses from our selection of engaging electives such as poetry Poetry and Aviation.

Knowing how to organize your thoughts into the written word is an invaluable skill that you will need to use constantly throughout your life. Our selection of English and writing courses will help develop your reading and writing skills so you can effectively represent yourself on paper.

Math is the foundation of so many other fields of study, gaining a strong understanding of math will help you think more logically and make better decisions. Many of the courses we offer are based on the real world application of mathematics to solve problems in business and everyday life.

Science is the engine of prosperity. Without scientific invention and innovation, our economy would flounder. The more you know about the scientific principles that have driven important discoveries, the better you will understand how to contribute to the scientific community yourself.

I feel like my options are endless after getting my diploma
I loved all the different course options that ARHS offered. I always felt like there was something new and exciting to learn. My favorite class was definitely Forensic Science, I’m pretty sure that’s what I want to study when I go to college.

Working with students and families has been my passion throughout my career. As a School Counselor for 26 years to date my main objective has been to be the best resource possible to all who cross my path. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication in addition to a Master of Science in Education; Counseling.
I completed a Certificate of Advanced Study Master’s program in School District Administration to further my depth of understanding of schools and further enhance my leadership skills.
Recently, I too, finished an online Ph.D program in Grief Therapy. My understanding of the online student experience is fresh and I believe I will be an asset because of this experience to my students.
I am eager to mentor and work collaboratively with my students as they embark on their new challenge of additional education.
